About Course

Representing the most advanced standard calculus offering in high school, AP Calculus BC extends the ideas of AP Calculus AB into a deeper and broader study of college-level calculus. Our AP Calculus BC Course is designed for students who are ready to move beyond the foundations of calculus and engage with a faster-paced, more comprehensive curriculum. In addition to mastering all AP Calculus AB topics, students explore advanced integration techniques, applications involving polar, parametric, and vector-valued functions, logistic differential equations, slope fields, sequences and series, and Taylor and Maclaurin polynomials and series. The course emphasizes both conceptual understanding and sophisticated problem solving, allowing students to analyze changing systems, approximate complex functions, and model real-world phenomena with powerful mathematical tools. Students develop fluency with derivatives and integrals while also learning to interpret convergence, represent functions in multiple ways, and justify solutions with precision and clarity.
